CHPP Maintenance Superintendent

Whitehaven is seeking a dedicated CHPP Maintenance Superintendent to oversee and optimise maintenance activities at our Blackwater Mine.  Your experience as a Maintenance Superintendent within the mining industry will be highly regarded.

About the Role:


As the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
Your expertise will help maintain safety standards, minimize downtime, and improve plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for the two coal processing facilities
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimise plant performance
• Develop forward budgets and manage resources
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence
