About the Role

Whitehaven Coal is seeking a highly skilled Dragline Operator to join our Blackwater operations. As a key member of our mining team, you’ll operate state-of-the-art machinery, contribute to meeting critical production targets, and uphold the highest standards of safety and performance. What You’ll Do

• Operate dragline and supporting equipment safely and efficiently in line with established procedures and site guidelines.
• Complete pre-starts and operational checks to ensure machinery is safe, compliant, and production-ready.
• Identify and report defects or malfunctions promptly to supervisors to maintain equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with mining and production teams to achieve daily and long-term operational objectives.
• Monitor performance and adjust operations to optimise productivity, efficiency, and equipment longevity.
• Champion safety every day by following all regulations, reporting hazards, and actively contributing to a zero-harm workplace culture.
