Dragline Operator Production Worker

As a Dragline Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in our mining operations, working with a team that values Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Innovation, Value Creation, and Excellence. You'll be responsible for safely operating and maintaining draglines to optimize production and efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Operate dragline equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards.
• Perform pre-start inspections, reporting maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to achieve production targets.
• Follow best practices to ensure minimal environmental impact and adherence to site policies.

Qualifications:
 

• Previous experience as a Dragline Operator in open-cut mining.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certification/licensing for dragline operation.
• RII Competency Certification for Dragline and Dozer Operations.
• Commitment to Whitehaven Values, particularly teamwork and safety.
• A ‘C Class’ Driver’s License (unrestricted).
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Standard 11 Certification (for Queensland mining safety compliance).
