About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dragline Operator to join The Whitehaven Coal family. The Dragline Operator will play a crucial role in our mining operations, working as part of a dynamic team to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of performance and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Operate dragline and supporting equipment, in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of the dragline equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition. Perform routine checks tasks and report any defects or malfunctions to the Supervisor for repairs.
• Work closely with the mining team to achieve production targets and meet operational objectives.
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Identify and report safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel for corrective action.
