About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Processing Engineer to join our Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) team at Blackwater Mine. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in optimizing plant performance and contributing to the mine’s operational success.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Ensuring efficient processing and high-quality coal output through the Coal Handling and Processing Plant CHPP.
• Analyze and monitor plant data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve recovery rates.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, increase throughput, and enhance plant reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation as required.

About You:
 

• A degree in Chemical Engineering (or a related discipline).
• Proven experience in CHPP operations or similar processing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in process optimization tools and software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
• Knowledge of Australian coal mining operations and regulations is highly desirable.
