This position will be based at Blackwater with occassional travel to Brisbane.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the mine's business objectives.
• Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation and safety regulations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Contribute to the development of a positive work culture that supports teamwork and productivity.
• Create reports and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage and support stakeholders.
   

Key Qualifications:
 

• Strong HR experience, preferably in the Mining or related sectors
• Qualifications in HR or related area are highly regarded
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and Qld industry regulations
• Demonstrated experience in strategic HR management, including talent development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and operational efficiency
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide pragmatic solutions.
