This position will be based at Blackwater with occassional travel to Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the mine's business objectives.
- Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation and safety regulations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Contribute to the development of a positive work culture that supports teamwork and productivity.
- Create reports and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage and support stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong HR experience, preferably in the Mining or related sectors
- Qualifications in HR or related area are highly regarded
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and Qld industry regulations
- Demonstrated experience in strategic HR management, including talent development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and operational efficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide pragmatic solutions.
