Blackwater is one of the region’s most significant coal operations — a site with scale, momentum, and a strong future. The mine plays a major role in supplying high‑quality coal to domestic and international markets, and every shift contributes directly to meeting production targets.

Production Workers / Operators here aren’t just “drivers” — they’re the backbone of the entire operation. When trucks move, the mine moves. When operators perform well, the whole site performs well.

The role

• Coal Haulage Operations — operating large‑scale haul trucks to safely transport coal from active pits to ROM pads and processing areas
• Coal Handling & Production Support — assisting with coal flow, monitoring equipment, clearing build‑ups, and ensuring smooth production
• Pre‑Start & Safety Checks — completing inspections, reporting hazards, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment
• Team‑Based Production — working closely with dispatch, supervisors, and fellow operators to keep coal moving efficiently
• Equipment Care — basic maintenance tasks, refuelling, and keeping your machine in top condition
