About the Role

What You Will Do

We are seeking experienced Dozer Operators to join our Dozer Push team at Whitehaven’s Blackwater Mine. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality land preparation and earthworks services in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Caterpillar D11 Dozers with proven expertise
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards
• Execute precise bench prep, bulk pushing, and coal uncover tasks using modular GPS guidance.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety consciousness, and teamwork
• Digger experience with Komatsu PC1250 or Cat 6030 would be highly advantageous but not essential.    
• Grader experience with Cat 18m would be highly advantageous but not essential.

What You Will Bring:

• Valid Training Transcripts/LMS demonstrating relevant experience
• Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, and a valid Driver’s License
• Comprehensive understanding of mining safety protocols and environmental standards
• Ability to interpret site plans and execute bench/design tasks accurately
• Proven experience operating large earthmoving equipment in a mining environment
