We are seeking an experienced Short Term Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Blackwater Mine Site, supporting maintenance activities in a dynamic, high-performing environment.


About the Role


Reporting to the Maintenance Planning and Reliability Superintendent, you will be responsible for developing and managing short-term maintenance plans to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of company assets. This role is critical in driving schedule compliance, minimising downtime, and supporting site production targets.

This is a site-based role, working a 9-day fortnight roster, offering a strong work-life balance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain short-term maintenance plans and schedules for company assets
  • Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and execution teams to optimise weekly work plans
  • Ensure all planned work is aligned with safety and operational priorities
  • Review and update job plans, and resource requirements
  • Monitor schedule adherence and identify improvement opportunities
  • Liaise with reliability engineers, operations, and supply teams to ensure readiness of parts, labour, and equipment
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and work management systems


About You

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning within mining or heavy industry,
  • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling principles
  • Experience with SAP (S4 HANA) or similar CMMS systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
