Senior Supervisor Maintenance - Mobile

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor Maintenance - Mobile to join the Whitehaven Coal Family in our Blackwater Mine.  The Supervisor Maintenance - Mobile will be responsible for the Management of all Mobile Maintenance together with related duties - reporting, ensuring safe working conditions and meeting KPIs.  This role will be based on site at Blackwater. 
We have two positons available working on back to back rosters - Dayshift only.

What you will do
 

• Manage the performance and availability of the Mine to achieve both operational and financial company objectives;
• Responsible for the Maintenance work stream while ensuring the team takes responsibility for their tasks and work management requirements.
• Provide Engineering direction to ensure compliance to relevant standards
• Provide direction to the condition monitoring teams to ensure optimum equipment performance and reliability.
• Provides clarity and direction that supports the effective performance of the maintenance department in terms of timing, budget and delivery options.
• Take the lead on improving reliability and equipment standards via your dedicated reliability engineer based on site.
• Attend daily site meetings to provide operational availability and performance of all equipment, upcoming planned events and collaborate closely with the production department.
• Manage, coach and mentor supervisors, maintenance crew personnel and your team of planners and engineers
