Maintenance Supervisor – Ultra‑Class Fleet

Ready to lead one of the biggest ultra‑class truck fleets in the Bowen Basin? Blackwater Mine is looking for a driven, safety‑focused Maintenance Supervisor to take charge of our ultra‑class team and keep our high‑horsepower fleet moving.

About the Role

You’ll be the frontline leader overseeing maintenance on our ultra‑class haul trucks.  Your job is to keep them turning, keep them safe and keep production on track.

You’ll run the daily plan, manage breakdowns, support your crew and make sure every job is done right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Crew — Drive performance, set the pace and support your trades to deliver safe, high‑quality maintenance.
• Own the Workload — Allocate tasks, manage priorities and keep the schedule tight.
• Lift Reliability — Spot issues early, work with planning and engineering, and push continuous improvement.
• Champion Safety — Lead by example and ensure every job meets site and statutory requirements.
• Grow Your Team — Coach, mentor and build capability across your ultra‑class crew.
• Work as One Team — Partner with production and planning to align priorities and keep the fleet rolling.

About You

• Trade‑qualified with strong experience on ultra‑class or large mobile plant.
• Confident leader who can motivate, guide and get the best out of a team.
• Strong understanding of maintenance processes and reliability fundamentals.
• Clear communicator with sharp organisational skills.
• Committed to safety, improvement and high‑performance culture.
