Whitehaven Coal is looking for a skilled and confident Surveyor to join the team at Blackwater Mine, one of Australia’s largest open-cut coal operations. This role offers a balanced mix of field and office work, ideal for someone who values accuracy, enjoys variety, and takes pride in producing high-quality survey data. While coal mining experience is advantageous, it is not essential for the right candidate.

About the Role

• Provide accurate, timely survey services to support all mining activities.

• Conduct end-of-month volume measurements and reconciliations.
• Perform field pickups and set-outs using the latest UAV, GPS, and Total Station technology.
• Ensure all work aligns with current legislation, site procedures, and company standards.

Essential Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Surveying or a related field.
• Strong technical capability with modern surveying instruments and software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A proven commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
