Whitehaven Coal is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our maintenance team at the Blackwater Mine. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a well-established operation with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and long-term career development.

About the Role

• As a Boilermaker at Blackwater Mine, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Performing fabrication, welding, and repair work on mobile and fixed plant equipment
• Conducting preventative and breakdown maintenance in accordance with site procedures
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high safety and quality standard
• Working collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams to minimise downtime

What You Will Bring

• To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• A commitment to safety and compliance with site standards
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
