About the Role:

We are seeking a Mine Controller to join our Remote Operations Centre (ROC) team in Brisbane. This opportunity is ideal for an established Controller, or an experienced mining professional looking to relocate to Brisbane or transition from a site-based production role. We also welcome candidates from other relevant industries and technical backgrounds, such as engineering, logistics and technology, particularly those with experience in operational, data-driven or control room environments.

You will be responsible for the real-time monitoring and safe, efficient operation of our mining fleets within a 24/7 control room. Working closely with site production and maintenance teams, you will respond to operational challenges, optimise fleet performance, minimise downtime, and identify opportunities to improve the way we operate.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the evolution of remote mining operations, leveraging technology and data to drive operational performance. This  is a Brisbane-based role operating on a rotating day and night roster.

What You’ll Do  

• Monitor and control mining operations using advanced technology and remote systems from the ROC facility.
• Manage and optimise our fleets to support and improve safety, production and cost outcomes for the business
• Analyse real-time data and implement operational adjustments as needed to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with various departments including production, maintenance, and engineering to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and cost-effectiveness.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in mining operations and fleet management, either on-site or within a remote operations centre environment.
• Experience using Caterpillar MINESTAR or Modular Mining Systems DISPATCH is a significant advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on leveraging data to inform operational decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective coordination with both site-based and remote teams.
