Planner Long Term Field Maintenance

Whitehaven Coal, a leader in the Australian mining sector, is seeking a Long Term Planner - Field Maintenance to join our dedicated team.
This position can be based in Brisbane or Newcastle. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive long-term maintenance plans that ensure optimum availability and reliability of field equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure alignment and proactive scheduling for minimal disruption.
• Conduct regular reviews and adjustments to planning schedules to adapt to changing operational needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to secure necessary resources.
• Champion Whitehaven's core values, STRIVE (Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value Creation, and Excellence), in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in maintenance planning or a similar role within the mining or heavy industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in maintenance planning software.
• Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt plans to support operational goals.
• Trade qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or relevant industry experience sufficient to estimate resources, materials, costs, timeframes and methods for required work
• Experienced user of SAP or similar work management systems
• Drivers Licence – Class C
