About The Role:

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Superintendent – Offsite Repairs & Warranty to provide strategic leadership and governance across offsite repairs, repairable component management, service exchange programs and warranty recovery. The role will drive improved asset performance, reliability and value through effective repair strategies, warranty optimisation, strong supplier partnerships and continuous improvement.

This role is Brisbane based, but will require regular travel to Whitehaven operations and suppliers as required.

What You'll Do:

• Lead end-to-end offsite repairs and warranty recovery to maximise asset performance and value.
• Oversee service exchange programs and repairable asset strategies across multiple mining operations.
• Optimise SAP Warranty Management processes to improve efficiency, data integrity, claim visibility, and financial recovery.
• Develop strategies to reduce lifecycle costs, improve equipment reliability, and support operational performance.
• Build strong partnerships with OEMs, repair vendors, and site teams to deliver safe, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement through enhanced repair governance, analytics, and asset lifecycle management.

What You'll Bring:

• Relevant engineering degree or maintenance qualification, with extensive experience in offsite repairs, repairable components, warranty or asset management.
• Proven Superintendent-level leadership experience in mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, or other asset intensive environments.
• SAP/S4HANA capability across warranty, asset management, supply chain, and maintenance processes.
• Experience in repairable inventory management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, and vendor management.
• Excellent stakeholder and commercial management skills, including budgets, contracts, warranty recoveries, and service agreements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a track record of continuous improvement and delivering reliability and cost outcomes.
