About the Role:  

Boilermakers are responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of mining equipment and structural components. Working as part of the maintenance team, you will collaborate with site personnel to complete maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, contributing to equipment reliability and operational performance. This role is suited to an experienced Boilermaker who takes pride in their work, values safety, and enjoys working in a mining environment.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on our fleet of mining equipment.
  • Fabricate, repair, and install structural steel, tanks, pressure vessels, and other metal components.
  • Complete welding, cutting, and modification work to support equipment reliability and site operations.
  • Work with engineers and maintenance personnel to deliver repairs, improvements, and operational outcomes.
  • Follow safety procedures, maintain accurate maintenance records, and proactively identify and resolve equipment issues.

 

What You’ll Bring:  

  • Boilermaker trade qualification with a minimum of two years' post-trade experience in a mining environment.
  • Experience with truck chassis, tray, bucket, and boom repairs.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to OEM procedures.
  • Current C Class Driver Licence, Queensland Coal Board Medical, and Standard 11.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and delivering reliable maintenance outcomes.
