Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced CHPP and Infrastructure Maintenance and Outage Planners to join our Site Maintenance team.
As a Maintenance Planner at Daunia Mine, you will develop and coordinate preventive maintenance plans specifically for the CHPP and Infrastructure departments, ensuring reliability and safety. Your expertise will be essential in maximizing asset uptime and supporting seamless mining operations through effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
The role being offered is on an even time 7/7 roster with FIFO options from both Brisbane and Cairns.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Superintendent Reliability & Planning your role will consist of:
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for infrastructure and ancillary equipment to minimise downtime and support operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and scoping of six-weekly outages for the CHPP and the annual major outage.
- Resource and allocate labour, materials, and resources to meet planned maintenance requirements within set timeframes.
- Sequence and prioritise work orders, especially for shutdowns and planned outages, to optimise workflow.
- Refine and improve maintenance plans and strategies
- Maintain and update master data in SAP.
What You'll Bring
- Trade qualification, Engineering degree or appropriate time in role
- Demonstrated background in maintenance planning, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Strong understanding of mining machinery and equipment, including maintenance practices and lifecycle requirement
