About The Role:

As a CHPP Operator Maintainer at Daunia mine, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Coal Handling & Preparation Plant (CHPP) while ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems. This role involves working in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with site personnel to achieve safety and performance targets.

Boilermakers will be employed on an even time rotating day/night roster (7on:7off). 

What You'll Do:

• Conduct production tasks including inspections, troubleshooting of production issues, machinery operation and cleaning activities to maintain our 5S standards.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and carry out preventive maintenance on CHPP equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, trouble shoot and repair to minimize plant downtime.
• Ensure compliance with site safety health management system and site electrical standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and operational performance.
• Monitor the CHPP to optimize production and quality as directed by the CHPP Production Supervisor.
• Assist in HV switching activities and conduct CHPP Isolation for safe access.

What You'll Bring:

• Current Qld Electrical License
• Prior production and maintenance experience within a large-scale process plant.
• Experience with complex process plant isolations to allow safe access for maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, SCADA, PLCs, and fault-finding techniques.
• Mobile machinery competencies across Dozer, Loader, Forklift, EWP, Franna and Skid Steer is desirable.
• High Voltage Switching and Access. (able to obtain)
• Maintain Electrical equipment in hazardous areas. (able to obtain)
