Daunia mine is a high performing operation in Queensland's Bowen Basin, producing premium metallurgical coal for global export since 2013. Located southeast of Moranbah and neighbouring Whitehaven's Winchester South project, Daunia is equipped with world class infrastructure and autonomous haulage technology, enabling safe and efficient operations.

What You'll Do:

You’ll operate large-scale excavators safely and efficiently, contributing to daily production targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety, equipment care and quality outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven 400T+ excavator operating experience
• Current Standard 11 and ability to obtain/pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical
• Current unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality outcomes
• Reliable, proactive and a strong communicator
• Ability to work effectively within a team while living the Whitehaven STRIVE Values
