About The Role:

As a Warehouse Operator, you will provide a safe and efficient warehouse service supporting maintenance and mining operations across Daunia. You will receive, store, manage and issue materials and freight, ensuring maintenance teams have the right parts available when needed.

 

Using SAP S/4HANA, you will maintain accurate inventory records and support the timely delivery of materials to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability. You will also contribute to a strong safety culture, inventory accuracy and continuous improvement across the warehouse.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Receive, inspect, store and issue materials safely and accurately, including picking and staging parts for scheduled, breakdown and shutdown maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions in SAP S/4HANA, including goods receipts, goods issues, bin transfers, adjustments and stocktakes.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, prioritising critical materials and ensuring freight is prepared and transported safely and compliantly.
  • Expedite urgent freight and critical materials to minimise operational delays and support equipment availability.
  • Provide responsive warehouse support to Maintenance, Operations and Supply teams, communicating material availability and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Follow site Safety, Health and Environmental requirements, maintaining high housekeeping standards and safely operating warehouse equipment.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in a mining, warehouse, logistics or heavy industry environment, preferably open-cut coal.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience in warehouse or supply chain operations.
  • Current LF High Risk Work Licence, coal Board Medical, Standard 11 and Queensland Driver Licence.
  • Experience with goods receipting, inventory control, warehouse bin management and heavy freight handling.
  • Strong safety focus, attention to detail, plus the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Great communication, planning and problem-solving skills, with a focus on service and continuous improvement.
