About The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AHS Trainer to join our innovative team. Reporting to the Superintendent AHS Mine Control, you will provide autonomous haulage systems (AHS) productivity coaching and upskilling for mine control teams, with an aim to build system operating proficiency from competent to highly proficient. You will take an active role in ensuring compliance to the training schedule, drive a strong safety culture, but also seek to continuously improve operating efficiency and realise cost benefits.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deliver autonomous control training packages.
  • Provide constant mentoring and training for team members.
  • Ensure compliance to training procedures and systems.
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation with leaders, team members and site.
  • Continuously improve through identifying system and operational process improvements in the use of the autonomous fleet management system.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous Mine Control or System / Field Builder experience.
  • Previous CAT Command Autonomous Haulage System experience.
  • Trainer/Assessor – or demonstrated knowledge to obtain.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to identify and execute improvements to continuously optimise operations.
  • High level of computer literacy and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adhere and live the Whitehaven Values and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture.
  • A great attitude towards training and coaching a team of Mine Controllers and Builders.
