About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Supervisor Maintenance to join our team at Daunia. This is a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role and be part of a team that’s been successfully maintaining an autonomous haulage operation for more than five years.
As a Supervisor Maintenance, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and performance of the crew by keeping things running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll play a hands-on role in shift planning, allocating tasks, tracking performance, and driving continuous improvement across site.

What You'll Do:
- Supervise maintenance operations for mobile or field equipment including scheduled shutdowns, emergency repairs, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure maximum fleet availability and reliability.
- Lead and coordinate daily activities, including shift planning, task allocation, and supervising the crew to ensure safe, efficient operations in a state of the art workshop.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to team members while maintaining accurate training and competency records.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering & Reliability, and OEMs to optimise equipment performance, lifecycle costs, and maintenance strategies.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to boost productivity, streamline processes, and enhance overall mining efficiency.
What You'll Bring:
- An inspirational leader with prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a mining maintenance environment.
- A Trade qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline is essential.
- Experience with CAT Ultra Class Trucks, 6040/6060 Excavators and 7495 Electric Rope Shovel plus Hitachi 3600/5600 Excavators is highly desirable.
- Hold RIIRIS301 / RIIWHS301 / RIICOM301 (formerly S1, S2, S3) & RIIRIS402 (formerly G2) qualifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for driving operational improvements.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
