Daunia mine is a high performing operation in Queensland's Bowen Basin, producing premium metallurgical coal for global export since 2013. About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Supervisor Production to join our team at Daunia. This is a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role and be part of a team that’s been successfully running autonomous operations for more than five years.

As a Supervisor Production, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and performance of the production crew by keeping things running safely, efficiently, and on target. You’ll play a hands-on role in shift planning, allocating tasks, tracking production performance, and driving continuous improvement across site.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities, including shift planning, task allocation, and supervising Operators to ensure safe, efficient operations in an open-cut coal environment.
• Monitor production and coal quality targets, ensuring alignment with mine plans and prompt action on any deviations.
• Drive a strong safety culture by overseeing the correct use and maintenance of equipment, optimising utilisation, and minimising operational delays.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to team members while maintaining accurate training and competency records.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to boost productivity, streamline processes, and enhance overall mining efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

• An inspirational leader with prior experience in a similar production role, preferably in an open-cut coal mining environment.

• Hold RIIRIS301 / RIIWHS301 / RIICOM301 (formerly S1, S2, S3) & RIIRIS402 (formerly G2) qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for driving operational improvements.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Previous experience with CAT Minestar Command or an autonomous mining environment is highly desirable.
